逆向工程技术可实现对复杂曲面模型的构建,但是逆向建模方法对模型效果的影响不容忽视,常用的逆向建模方法包括NURBS曲面建模、多边形建模以及两者结合建模。以人体前臂为例,选取3款建模方法不同的逆向建模软件Imageware,Geomagic Studio和MeshLab构建模型,对比其建模流程以及模型效果,分析适合构建虚拟人体模型的逆向建模方法。研究表明,NURBS曲面建模与多边形建模相结合的方法更适合构建虚拟人体模型,该结果可以为快速高效建立高精度人体模型提供技术参考。
Abstract:
Reverse engineering technology can realize the construction of complex surface models. But the influence of reverse modeling methods on the model effect can not be ignored. The common reverse modeling methods include NURBS surface modeling, polygon modeling and the combination of two modeling methods.Taking human forearm as an example, this article selected three reverse modeling software Imageware, Geomagic Studio, and MeshLab with different modeling methods to build the model, compared their modeling processes and effects, and analyzed the reverse modeling method suitable for building virtual human model. The results show that the modeling method that combines NURBS surface modeling and polygon modeling is more suitable for constructing virtual human model.The results can provide technical reference for building high-precision human model quickly and efficiently.
